Hence why all the iKoons were saying, not even a year ago, that they'd never get a Samsung phone because it looks like a mini tablet.
Of course now that it has the holy fruit logo all of a sudden bigger is the most desirable feature in the world !!!
I mean we all know that Dell was commercializing that streak phone before the Note, but it flopped so hard that no one payed attention. The same goes for whatever you just posted.
Let's be honest, you probably didn't even know its existence until yesterday, otherwise you would have used it as an "argument" way before !
In fact your comparison is so stupid that Steve Jobs himself said
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus would not have those sizes if the Note series and Galaxy series hadn't happend. You know it, I know it, Apple knows it !
But if you really want to play it dirty with some cheap nonsense trolling

1. Samsung didn't start a "trend". They jumped ahead, and had to wait before The Note series took off, starting a trend would imply a success first go. Releasing 3 versions of the Note phone before people decided to actually buy it, is not starting a trend.
Apple GRADUALLY increased the screen size, they got their consumers familiar with the idea of Bigger screens, which is why the iPhone 6 will potentially outsell the entire Note franchise. (it's expected to sell over 70 million by Christmas).
Gradually releasing a product is smart. Realeasing a bigger screen when people didn't want it, and it starts to finally sell when bigger screens become the norm, is not starting a trend.
Lastly, the one handed mode means Apple fans can actually use their phone like they always have. That's why the idea is good.
Shrinking your whole OS into a corner, making it blurry and having smaller buttons is not good.
2. I have used the Newton is many arguments many times before. Many times. I even remember using it when the IOS 7 came out.
3. Steve Jobs was talking about THE CURRENT industry, he knew his consumers weren't ready to buy a larger phone, and he was right. The 4S became the best selling Smartphone.
4. Apple had already been developing a larger screened phone before the Note series even took off. Remember companies thought the iPhone 5S would have a 4.7" because the iPhone 6 had already entered early manufacturing stages. That means they had been working on it in 2012. What was the Note doing then? "The Galaxy Note has shipped 10 million as of August 2012"
*tumbleweed*
5. That comparison doesn't even make sense, and you know it. iOS was made based on a tablet prototype that was based on the Newton.
Good day.
