Digimon Adventure 2 left a bad taste in my mouth. It was good until the last of the season and the abysmal finale.

I was a little salty Tai and Sora didn't end up together and could deal with it (Matt & Sora had some moments in S1) but I was pressed and seething T.K. and Kari didn't end up together.

I wanted Jou and Mimi to get together too

I def saw him when I was looking at Fusion on the web. The lead in Fusion was battling monsters and Greymon showed up. It was just Greymon and Tai, possibly Matt and Gabumon as well.

I am fully prepared for a recon though or zero acknowledgement of what Tai did in Fusion.

Based on what Konaa said, it looks as if this season WILL be set after Season 2. I for one am excited as I like continuity, and I think they can do an amazing job with the new season. I would like them to randomly feature some of the Season 2 cast (Davis, Yolie, Ken, Cody) but I bet they'll most likely focus on the original 8.

As long as there are no more DNA/Armor Digivolving, I'm good. I was pressed we didn't see any of the Season 2 digimon digivolve to Ultimate/Mega.

What happend in Fusion isn't really cannon for the "Past Heroes". That final few episodes featured/implied ALL of the chosen children from the past 5 seasons in the final battle, despite them all being in alternate universes. It can't be since younger 01 chosen children have not met 02 kids, and Takeru and Hikari appears to be their 01 age in those episodes.

It was really just their last ditch effort trying to bring back viewers for the Boy Who leapt through time arc. Miserably failing as well. That arc was terrible and boring.
