Has ATRL gone uphill or downhill since you joined?
This thread was created before, but I'd like to see your results a year and a half later with a poll option and plenty of new rules and regulations since 2013.
I been here since 2006, so let's just say, the golden years were 2008-2010. Now it's filled with overused fan words and twitter messages being allowed as threads. It's also nearly impossible to have an opinion now without getting threatened with a WP over the slightest bit of personal thoughts.
I get my laughs from the over the top thread titles people create though, like
Downhill. When I joined it was so much fun and they didn't use to hand out wps like crazy. Everyone enjoyed it.
Now there are loads of new rules and alot of trolls who get away with anything. And the threads nowadays are so boring and copy/paste compared to back then. Ugh.
Everything got so much stricter.

PYP closed, SYG is now subject to stricter rules, the blogs are holier than the Vatican after the clean-up, the infringement rule that recently came into existence, the avi policy..

ATRL will eventually close, after there is an inevitable rebellion and everyone leaves. You can tell me how wrong I am but it's my opinion. IMO ATRL is like a teenage girl full of angst she's internalized her whole life ready to explode and have a breakdown.
When I was non member people used to post relevant and necessary threads about topics that were actually worth discussing. Now all people do is throw shade and trash other artists.
