I mean that's a cute train of thought but war is often justified. Do you think the people of Belgium should have stood by and let the Germans invade in WW2?
War isn't always the answer, but someone needs to deal with ISIS. You can't just sit back and hope it will fizzle out. As they move through the country, recruiting those who do not wish to be killed by ISIS, it's safe to assume their numbers would multiply exponentially.
Luckily, the US+Australia+Canada+Britain et al have stood up to deal with them.
