being in the top ten best selling albums list for two years in a row, 25 years into your career is something that Mariah could have accomplished if she was a smart businesswoman.
Ugh, where's Mottola when you need him?
Anyways, a shame Amy Winehouse had to die because she was more talented than every single pop act atm. The woman had mad improvisation skills and was definitely the lyricist of her time.

And still clinging to that sound a decade later in MDNA and Unapologetic Bitch () is something a smart businesswoman would avoid.

Do you forget Body and Soul happened, Amy Winehouse's last recorded song? That was the selling point of the entire album and all the promotion was on that. The Lady Is A Tramp was only a small highlight on that album and frankly didn't do much towards it other than people saying "oh she can sing." A lot of that album rode on Amy Winehouse and others.
Why would people rush to buy that album (where she is featured on one song) when they could buy her own? I'm pretty sure it didn't even re-enter Mediatraffic after she died, while her own albums did. Sorry, that logic will never make sense.
Nobody knows/cares about Brandy bar a few local, unknown R&B acts. I don't know how many times this has to be said. Like there is nothing to support the idea of her being an important artist. The GP doesn't know her.
And please don't mention the few times Rihanna has praised Brandy. I don't care.
Keke Palmer on being the first black cinderella on Broadway
Quote:
It won’t be the first time we’ve seen a multicultural “Cinderella” — singer Brandy played the title role in a cast that included Whoopi Goldberg, Whitney Houston, Victor Garber and Bernadette Peters in a 1997 television movie — but it will be the first time on the Great White Way.
“I feel like the reason I’m able to do this is definitely because Brandy did it on TV,” Palmer told AP. “In me doing this, it shows everybody that everything is possible.”
When he comes to me
I drip for him tonight
Drowning in me we bathe under blue light
His face in my dreams seizes my guts
He floods me with dread
Soaked in soul
He swims in my eyes by the bed
Pour myself over him
Moon spilling in
And I wake up alone.
I was a Winehouse fan in 2008. Still am now. Always will be. No one has ever comforted me and saved me from depression like Back to Black did. I'll always be grateful towards her.

She was pretty **** at improvising when she was off her **** during 99% of her performances
