I went all 4 times.
Freshman year - I brought my dance teacher as my date. We stayed for 2 and a half hours. Pretty ok dance.
Sophomore Year - they changed the date so that the game and dance were on the same night. Kevin Rudolf was a musical guest but I had to leave before he could perform. Not that it mattered. I heard he only performed 2 songs (which he lipsynced) and then left. My school apparently paid $7500 for him

. Oh and one of the vice principals kept kicking people out.
Junior Year - Pretty average dance.
Senior Year - This is the most memorable one, because I was on Homecoming Court that year. I was the most known kid in the class so when they called my name at the rally while we were lining up there were some people that screamed for me. When you're on court, you walk down the field with a parent or guardian. So I walked down the aisle with my Mom (which was really nice). The thing is, I was so hyped by my friends and the entire school to win that I was really hoping it would be me. When I walked down the field and they said my name as they were introducing me, the bleachers were LOUD! I mean SUPER loud! You never forget that because that meant so many people were rooting for you. And then I lost to a nerd. Literally lost to a nerd. You know that face Britney Spears had when she found out Fifth Harmony made the finals on X Factor...well I had a pretty bitchy face as well and then some dumbass took a picture while my face was like that and it made it into the yearbook.
The dance was ok. I went home, changed clothes and went to the dance. It kinda got messy because this bitch I was enemies with was acting obnoxious. I actually yelled at her and then accidentally hit her and she went ratchet on me...but she missed most of me thankfully. I don't really remember the rest of the night other than the fact that I was a skanky mess.
