It's been awhile since I posted here (it was getting to depressing) I had hope for this song but, it was obvious it was going to get bad initial call out scores because It even took me the most dedicated of fans who has like 5 different versions of Teenage Dream to even get into the song. The next song will make or break this era, if it's a hit - then good the era can continue with either more singles and maybe a re-release, however, if it flops - well, well, well that would be horrific considering the quality and potential this album has and how it has been squandered by fast release, bad videos and the lack of attention we became used to in TD.
It's becoming every so obvious that the next single MUST be Legendary Lovers - it's catchy, it's enjoyable and it's very memorable. This was why Dark Horse worked, and it's why every other single has failed (although I'm still puzzled by Birthday) this, if it has a good video and radio works for Katy can be her biggest hit and save the era as well as hopefully push the album to 4million.
I just want to go tell Katy to sort her team out. She needs to start dressing better, she needs a cleaner and sharper look. She needs to remind us she is still the boss because with these single release it feels like the interns are organising them. I'm hopeful she'll take a little attention from her work on the tour and promote her next single because I'd say TIHWD is dead atm. Anyway, pray for Katy.
