There is a difference between a spanking and what is in those photos. What is in those photos is the makings of someone who has no control over their anger and should be in jail. Any man who would do that to a child should have their di*k cut off with a razor.
I'm not against disciplining your child but this is extreme.
I understand that he didn't intentionally mean to harm his child but only did what was done to him. Still two wrongs don't make a right. Just because this sort of punishment was done to you doesn't mean that your kids deserve the same thing.

Also, this type of discipline does not teach kids to behave. It just causes them to be scared of their caretakers but lash out at others. You think these kids growing up in urban neighborhoods and black families - some of which end up in jail somewhere down the line - aren't being disciplined by their parents? Lol.
