I dnt see how having Rihanna's vocals in the background would be a cause of concern for anyone in this situation. The intro WILL be aired every Thursday starting next week.

I could see CBS's point to pull Rihanna's intro if she was still with Chris Brown...but she's not...

I know why CBS pulled the intro, but I think it was over kill myself, tbh.

If it turns out true, I can't say that I'm surprised.

The thing is Rihanna is actually a role model for survivors because she showed the classic cycle that victims go through AND SHE LEFT. She is a success story for that alone. She left after only returning once--that says a lot about Rihann's strength. Rihanna's story is a story of success. I hope Janay's will turn out the same after this but only time will tell.

She got pulled because Rihanna went back to her abuser, the same as Ray Rice's wife, which most think is the wrong message to send to women of domestic abuse.

Had Rihanna not gone back to Chris, this would have been a story of triumph and which we all know everybody loves a good story of triumph. But as we all know that didn't happen.

She returned twice.
Once imeediatly after he beat her.
And then a couple of years later again.
Rihanna isn't a role model for survivors of Domestic Violence because she refuses(d) to be potrayed as one. Which is her right. But I wouldn't label her as someone playing a major role in the fight against domestic violence.

Yall do the absolute most! SHE did not get pulled, the WHOLE segment got pulled this week so tht the Commissioner could address the issue to the public prior to the game. The whole pregame was revamped, it was all about the incident, they didn't een talk football. The intro will be used next week and every Thursday following so how exactly did SHE get pulled?! Yall need to stop eatin up everything the media serves yall and actually use some damn common sense
