I agree. Now if it was against Loud, Rated R or GGGB then Artpop wouldn't have stood a chance.

I prefer Unapologetic. Stay, Diamonds, What Now, and almost every other song on the album is amazing.
But Artpop has some good songs like Do What U Want, Gypsy and Applause.

They have the same Metacritic score

Do they both have #1 hits and a Grammy though?
Besides, Unapologetic was unfairly scored because of Nobody's Business. Didn't stop the Academy from voting for her album though or the GP from buying it.

Plus I couldn't even distinguish which songs are on unapologetic or talk that talk because they are both sonically and visually the same

I think ARTPOP is better and since Unapologetic is not memorable, ARTPOP also wins for that. It's the first underperforming album of Lady Gaga.
