Well it's all subjective but it seems like many people share my point of view so instead of calling radio biased just accept that the callouts and mscores are bad, which means people simply don't like it and radio won't play it.

Ultimately, the GP don't pick what is played on the radio though. The radio stations are clearly in charge of that, hence why TIHWD is Top 30 in iTunes yet they will play songs that are far lower on iTunes over TIHWD due to their biased views of the song.

Almost 3/4 of the way to being VEVO certified on YouTube, Over 500k likes with over 50k dislikes, that's almost a 10:1 ratio. People like the song. These are real statistics and your opinion of the song (a negative one) is preventing you from seeing that people are evidently here for this song you dislike so much.

Scott Mills (Radio 1) played "Walking On Air" today, and KIIS FM in Australia played it yesterday. I saw this coming on.

Bear in mind, this only means Universal/Capitol UK/EMI are probably trying to test it in international markets. Katy's "radio singles" are usually released overseas earlier. Sometimes the song chosen sways the influence of the artist/label when choosing the official single, and other times it doesn't.

Australia would gladly hop on WoA. Not here for internationally split singles. If it's WoA it's WoA everywhere in the end.

Please not WoA. I'd prefer International Smile to WoA. Besides, WoA was played a fair bit back when it was a promo single (in Australia) and was played again after Dark Horse smashed here, before Birthday was officially released. It was probably just getting a recurrent airplay.

Didn't Katy confirm Legendary Lovers would be a single? It's totally coming.

Honestly, this did better than I expected it to. When she announced it as a single I was worried it would end her top 30 streak, and its now entered the top 25. Considering it has had no performances and its a fifth single, its done pretty well. Obviously its an underperformance for Katy, but she was too spoiled getting all those consecutive hits. There's nothing wrong with having underperformances, it allows room for bigger and more memorable hits.

I'm gonna need LL to smash though
