I actually agree. It's not even because they're not dance (even though I thought that was the genre that suited her best). Chasing The Sun and All About You just don't do much for me. I realized that part of the problem is that they are so impersonal and generic. They could have been anyone's songs. The songs she writes are always better to me and she didn't write as heavily for this album.
I'm still looking forward to the album though because I'm sure there will be something I like.
