Nearly 20 years after Married … With Children ended its run, Bud Bundy could be returning to TV.
The series that rocketed leads Ed O'Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate and David Faustino to stardom could see some members of the dysfunctional Bundy clan back on the small screen with a TV spinoff in the works at Sony Pictures Television, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
As first reported by E! the studio, which produced the Fox series, is taking out a pitch for a follow-up to Married … With Children based on Faustino's Bud Bundy. It's unclear which, if any, other cast members would be involved in the potential spinoff. Fox re-aired the pilot in 2012 as part of its 25th anniversary.
