I think about this day often. I remember everything about that day to a T - I watched news outlets for weeks and wanted to understand, to know, what could have caused someone to do something so evil?

It's been years and I've still never learned the reason.

It was the second day of middle school. I don't remember hearing about it until I got off the school bus and my friend was freaking out when a plane flew overhead. I didn't understand why. We got into our first class, History. and Mr. Franklin just started off with "A lot of you don't think history is important but history is being made today" and he turned on the TV and we just kept seeing replays of the planes hitting the buildings and the towers falling. It was so scary.

I remember it so clearly. I was at home with my family and we were watching Passion (soap-opera) and around 7 pm in my country the show was intrerrupted for the breaking news. So tragic! Rest in peace

Because it's a pretty significant day in human history, and I wonder when it will be integrated into school curriculums. When I was in high school, doing 'Ancient History' as a subject in your junior and senior years meant studying Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome and Ancient Egypt, and 'Modern History' was basically studying World War 1 and World War 2, but I've always wondered what year they'll include 9/11 in the 'Modern History' syllabus.

I think it will take another decade or two before it is integrated into school curriculums. Schools are notoriously slow to update their curriculums, and I'm not quite sure why. I am taking U.S. History next semester (I'm a sophomore), so I'll see if they mention it, but I feel it's very unlikely.

I was in class and my math Teacher got a call from her daughter she told her two planes crash into the World Trade Center. I didn't see any thing until late that day when my English teacher took us to the library to watch. I was horrified. It caused me to be more aware of what was going on in the world.

I just turned 6 some days beforehand and I remember everything from that day and week exactly. When I was picked up from kindergarten just some time before it happened and then watching everything on TV, until late evening. Even though I've been quite little I understood what was going on. The silence the next morning in kindergarten was scary.
