Thing about Rita, her talent is much bigger than her music. She is a terrific performer with a solid voice. Hopefully her second album is better than her first because while it had some cute songs, that was it. It was only cute. Someone with her voice and style should have better and bigger and more recognizable songs. Hopefully her team got it right this era.
Ah, being a Beyoncé fan, you understand that some basic songs can become really cool in their live arrangements. I don't necessarily use Rita's music very much, at least not the studio versions. Her acoustic stuff is everything.
That being said, my favorite tracks are Roc The Life, R.I.P, How We Do (Party), Shine Ya Light, Radioactive and Hot Right Now.
People will keep talking that Rita is a flop, but only this year she released 2 songs, all of them was top 5 in UK (IWNLYD was #1 + 400k downloads) and was huge in Australia. . Now 1of the songs is top 5 in US and is platinum. .
