Went to this tacky as f--k party out in the country in this literal farming shed and we had like industrial heaters blaring at us cause it was winter and we basically just raved in a farming shed like next to tractors and plows and I passed out on a hay bale.

Didn't go. My school's proms are already incredibly basic (they're held in our lunch room...) and my class is the last group of people that I'd want to party with. I have no regrets either, I know I wouldn't have enjoyed it.
