You are right. Which means there is more to power than just success.
Lady Gaga is the most successful musician in the past 6 years.
No one has sold more albums than her, sans Adele (in the last 6 years ONLY).
No one has sold more singles than Gaga (Maybe Rihanna is a tie).
No one has grossed more than Gaga (not even Beyonce)
No one has won more awards than Gaga in the last 6 years.
No one has been more talked about than Gaga in the last 6 years..
No one has been more powerful than Gaga in the last 6 years besides Oprah Winfrey. Gaga was 2 times in top 10 Most powerful women in the world. She's been top 5 most powerful celebrities in the world for 4 years in a row (one time number 1 and 2 times at number 2 I think)
A lot of power comes from all that. She is the most successful musician of the last 6 years when you round it up..
It's about everything that has hapened since their last edition if not further back.
