Louis' vocals are the standout for me too, not just saying that because I stan He just sounds so... sweet

And did y'all know that's Harry doing the high notes ("it's been so long, it's been so LOOONG") at the end? I thought for sure it was Zayn I still don't believe it tbh, but apparently Julian said it's Hazza.

Louis only uses untouched vocals for the album, and he always sings live 100% of the time, no pre-recorded tracks are used for his parts

I don't notice any significant autotune on them anymore tbh, whatever's done must be minimal/tasteful. Contrast that to some moments on UAN and TMH where it's like "HOLY metallic voice " (on all 5 of them, so don't go throwing any shade at LouLou or Legend N in particular )

They deffo got vocal coaching over the last ~2 years and it paid off

I saw this post on tumblr a few weeks ago with pics of Louis always putting his hand on his chest while singing. I still think he's doing it just to be cute/emotional tbh, but someone commented that it's apparently a way they teach you to make sure you're using proper technique. Lou making sure he's putting on the best show for me

Also I love that they're getting better at properly utilizing each boy's voice every year. I was re-watching some X-Factor videos the other day and it's so obvious they had no idea what to do with anyone but Liam at first And still on UAN. But now they all shine

I hope they will get a number one song in the u.s with this era. It doesn't matter to me, but they been close and they deserve it.
