These are so creepy. I've had friends prank call/text me but they reveal themselves within an hour. I just can't understand why someone would do this over the course of weeks or even months. How sick are you?

it happened long time ago, it was late night. someone called and my mom picked up the phone, but nobody spoke... that person called three times and yet didn't speak anything
my mom got mad and wanted to tell that person to stop calling, then the phone rang, my mom picked it up and a girl screaming loudly on the phone

Then a couple days later I kept getting texts and then he sent me pictures of dead animals he hunted and killed and I was traumatized cause they had their heads bashed in and nasty stuff like that. I'll never forget it. One day, the texts stopped after I never responded in weeks

I know now that these people aren't getting the hint so I have to answer the call, I literally wait everyday patiently to answer so I can clock. 4 days later number calls again I pick up. "Ashley?", "I'm sorry Ashley is not here, you have been calling the wrong number" "Where's ashley?" it's an old woman voice, I think she senile so I yell "Ashley's not here". Turn's out she's not senile she then says "Ashley, it's grandma just call me, it's been 5 days please we need to know if your alright " I quickly said 'ashley's not here" and hung up and they never called me again. I still wonder if they ever found ashley

When unknown numbers call my house phone and my dad answers and he doesn't hear anyone speak so he's like "it's just damn gypsies trying to figure out if anyone's home so they can steal"

Wait I have some tea
Ok so several years ago (around 2005/2006) I had just moved into a new house. It was late at night and me and my sister and my mom were the only people home (my dad used to work 2-week rotation shift work in another city about 40 minutes away and he was working nights at the time, meaning that he worked from like 6 pm-4 am). My mom got a phone call from a stranger and they asked for somebody who had the same last name as us. My mom had never heard of this relative, so my mom told them that they had the same last name as us but that we had some cousins that we didn't associate with (some of my distant cousins are involved in mafia, drug dealing, etc.). The rest of my family (aunts, cousins, grandparents, etc) lived in another city and we knew that we were the only people who had that last name that lived in our city. Anyway the guy on the phone apologized and hung up.
The next night, my mom went out into the front yard and saw a car parked in front of our house. This was unusual because it was winter and we lived in a suburban neighbourhood where during the winter you weren't allowed to park on the streets at night time. The car had its windows tinted and it was dark inside. My mom didn't really think anything of it so she went back in the house. A couple minutes later the same guy from the night before called the house, asking for the relative. Again, my mom explained that we were the only people with that last name who lived in the city and that the relative he was looking for probably lived in another city but that she didn't know who they were or where exactly they lived. The man kind of got angry but just hung up. Right after he hang up my mom looked out the window and saw the car infront of our house drive away
Over the next couple of nights the car kept showing up infront of our house and the man kept calling us. My mom didn't answer the phone, and she considered calling the police. My dad was still working nights so it was just me, my sister, and my mom at home when this was happening. One day before my dad left for work the man called us and my dad told him that the relative didn't live with us and to stop harrassing us.
For the next 2 weeks my dad was back on day shift so he was home at night. The calls stopped and the car stopped coming to our house. However, after the 2 weeks were up my dad went back to night shift. On the first night that he was back to night shift, the man knocked on our door. My mom answered the door since she didn't know who it was. Me and my sister were sitting in the kitchen behind her. My mom explained again that the relative he was looking for didn't live with us and that we didn't know them. I guess the man at the door saw me and my sister (we were young at the time, like 8 and 10 yrs old) and decided to leave. The calls completely stopped and the man stopped coming to our house.
A while later we found out from my dad's sister that the relative the man was looking for was involved in drug trafficking and that the man thought that he was living with me and my family in our house.

These posts
I remember one night, I kept getting a call from a block #, and everytime I answered he/she would hang up. It happened for 3 nights in a row. The 4th night, it was the same blocked #, so I quickly gave it to my sister so she can answer, and when she did, they hung up. The texted me that night "Hey [my name] are you awake?". I didn't give ANYBODY my # and I don't even have friends ( ) that can prank call me.

I once called someone from another forum at their home address they never gave out their name or number. They were shocked to say the least (and if certain people are reading this I'm NOT TALKING about someone whose name starts with an "L", this was way before that).
