After leaving Universal Music, the singer shows a new musical side, much alternative in this first album. Alongside its pre-order on iTunes, Meester unveiled the album’s title track “Heartstrings” as first countdown single on September 9th.
Wow this is so good and haunting. I'm really impressed. I hope people are finally going to take her seriously with that new album. I loved her pop songs but this is another level. She has such an amazing, underrated voice... Anyway, I'm glad queen Leighton has not given up.
Leighton is going to play shows, promote the album and release another single before the album drops. She did confirmed Heartstrings as the first single. She labels her album as dream pop. A lyric book will come with the record. Heartstrings is going to have a music video! The album is going to be available on Canada at the end of September, a little longer for other countries and psychical versions are going to be available
Wow, I remember b0pping to Body Control and I always hoped for an album since I love the tone of her voice and now she's releasing a 'dream pop' album that is going to blow my head off because this Heartstrings track reminds me a little of The Cranberries and I'm LIVING.
