Stage fright? God knows she has seen more of X Factor than the contestants did. How many performances must she suck at before she gets over this strage fright.
She was tired of outselling everybody's faves, she became a folk artist.
Living for her art.

Actually, she's been promising an acoustic record since Missudaztood. She always delivers a couple songs per album but this is a new approach and I love it. Her voice and harmonies are perfection.
She stopped saying that since like 2011. And obviously, no, Taylor doesn't have stage fright. She's always confident on stage even when she's messing up (probably because she doesn't realize she's messing up )

@2AM please. Both of them have unsupported, breathy lower registers, we're just discussing who has the more supported one, and obviously Taylor does.
I mean the D3s here. Katy has never reached that note, supported or not.
or the lower register singing here
I can't see those, I'm on my phone.
Point being, Taylor's strongest part of her voice is her lower register. Katy's is not, that's clearly her falsetto/upper register.
Taylor's voice has always settled well in the third octave. Which is why I prefer her earlier stuff to full pop.
