One of the Sims 'gurus' posted a comment, that got deleted (and snatched VIA google cache) about Sims 5 NOT HAPPENING, if Sims 4 fails. Which... will probably fail, because the gamers ARE NOT into it, based on reviews.

Blame EA for their shoddy handling, terrible marketing, and restrictions they put on the Maxis team. Actually, EA deserves even more because they are also behind ruining the SimCity brand.

IMHO EA wants all Sims brands ended.

It definitely isn't a bad game, but some of the things were labeled wrong.

The SMART sims are actually stupider than ever, they can't even walk properly without getting blocked by a plate on the floor, IMO, for the 4th generation of a game THAT IS A FLAW.

And I am not even going to comment on the whole new concept of 'worlds'.

The concept art is giving me The Sims Medieval teas. I can't believe they ever released that game

oh well. it's time. a new game series will come which will probably be much better.

The backfire!

First SimCity 5 and now Sims 4. EA killing off franchises. Will Wright is probably shaking his head in disgust.

They ****ed up badly this time and not making a new game to please the fans is their own loss, we will move onto the next life simulator innovation.

If they gave that much detail like those concept arts, I would have bought it.
All games should go into that much detail, unless you are going for a cartoon setting (like Mario).

The Sims 4 is a good game, just isn't an update to The Sims 2/3.

It's kind of like The Sims 1.5

Although the game went #1, it doesn't mean it can't under perform.

I'd rather EA sold the rights to another and let them reboot the franchise.
