cause it's an urban/RandB album (mostly) and japanese people aint here for western pop albums/acts (with a few exceptions) let alone urban/RandB ones

Yeah, even though R&B isn't popular there now, let's not act like it never was. The late 90's through at least 2007, there was practically a golden age of R&B in Japan. Then like you said, the highest selling album in Japanese history is an R&B album.
