I don't know this dude at all but I don't think it's fair to punish him this way.

It's all about image in any industry. When your personal life overshadows everything else, that's too much. And as an NFL player, he definitely is a role model. The NFL did the right thing by setting an example out of him. Hitting women is not okay ever.
