This. It's like when Miranda Lambert puts out a "Pistol Annies" album and the sisters from The Dixie Chicks put out their "Courtyard Hounds" albums. P!nk is still working on a solo release.

I first read this in a quote and the poster commented how she was going to release in Q4 and is now releasing this. So I took that with this.. lol Let me fix the OP.

You are wrong if you think she releases two albums. This is what she's wanted to do for years and she clearly fighted for this one to get released. This is not gonna have a full on era but definitely not a side project.

It says literally NOWHERE that she scrapped a solo album in favour of You+Me. Though I'm ****ing hesitant about this... She would do so much better with a solo album and a few collars with this unknown person. But let's hope for the best.

I disagree. Nowhere does it say she was making a solo album when she decided to scrap it. There's no indication in this statement.

Maybe he went to California to work with her for HIS album, hopefully making one song, but ended up making an entire album.

i don't think she scrapped anything, or at least it doesn't really say so in his fb post.

anyway, i'm excited for the album! her voice sounds heavenly and it just shows once again that she's perfect for any genre of music! this announcement was such a pleasant surprise. also judging from the youtube views in just a couple of hours, this might be a success story (but then again, this is pink. she always rakes in big numbers).

i'm sure she's working on her solo record, just has you+me on first priority now.

if anything, the release of her new solo album will just be pushed back for a while as she is working on 2 projects at once
