I agree with her. Her voice on The Fame was so robotic and vanilla, especially on songs like Just Dance and Paparazzi....the live performances of those songs (especially Paparazzi) really show how great her voice really is when you compare them to the album versions.

The first time I heard her on the radio, I assumed she didn't have any talent and was just some auto tuned girl, so I was very surprised the first time I saw a live video of her. I wish labels wouldn't do this stuff.

It seems like ARTPOP is the first album of hers that really shows off her natural, raw vocals (although the stuff she's talking about sounds like it could apply to the whole Aura thing too, how they made her re-record the vocals to make them more tame and radio friendly).

I miss her Fame vocals sometimes though. I wish she'd alternate between smooth and raspy vocals more.

But weren't Just Dance and Poker Face some of her biggest songs? She should listen to them more often.

Wow, I didn't know this. Little Monsters had always lead me to believe that even the slightest notion of Gaga being manufactured was ridiculous, but I guess that's not the case after all!

And I assume she's referring to Artpop too, that album has much more vocal processing than BTW did.

So this is what changed. I'd prefer it if she went back to that style, am sure a lot of music buyers would agree with me on this ....

She always sang the songs better live, but that's also a plus though it makes her look even better live

Where have you seen a pop artist having control in their debut era and more specifically their debut singles Gaga has the most control out of all her peers + she got all that control so early in her career, which is freaking impressive.

I disagree, I think ARTPOP is probably her most vocally raw album. BTW is pretty raw too, but she really shows off more of her voice on ARTPOP.

Where are all those monsters who said that THAT Gaga was the real deal?

It's sad how artists have to sing way less than they are actually capable off, just because the label executives want people to be able to sing along and everything hopefully her next pop album will have more songs where she shows off her amazing vocals like DWUW.

Gaga is in full control of her career ever since her second single

They're here, staning for Lana or Katy, shading Gaga 24/7 now that she's not at her peak.

All this while listening to The Fame and believing it's her best album.

Sad to say though that most people seemed to like the autotuned "fake" GaGa then. I personally liked both so

The Fame is where you can hear that "robotic voice" the most tbh. Glad she changed that.
