How Big is Your Country's Music Market
In comparison to the world
I'll start with my county South Africa
Last year our music industry was worth R2.2 billion
Which is roughly $220 million
How does your country fare?

5th with $954 million which is very good considering the singles market is completely dead after the digital era killed it. We haven't had a million seller since 2005.

Italy's is not that big, in fact it's the third country in the world for illegal downloads.

The Netherlands ranks #11 this year (but we've always been top 10).

Very small.
In past you could sell albums, but now it's terrible for international artists.
