Phoenix was hit by the remains of a hurricane last night. For basically the first time in forever since were in the middle of nowhere. Its part of our "monsoon" season where we have storms in the fall primarily from hurricane leftovers and generally increased storm production.
Our city is build between tons of mountains and has MANY hilled roads including the freeway.
Our main freeways the 60 and i-17 are entirely rivered with FEET of water. Some roads only are permitting 3mph.
EDIT: I had school cancelled today. My sister's school decided to not cancel and now they're gonna have like 10% attendance because nobody can get to it
