Bey's album isn't as graphic as Jhene's EP. And she can get away with it because she has many other things working for her.
AOTY requirements: commercial success + critical acclaim + impact. Bey has all 3. She's the obvious choice but anything could happen. The Grammys have ****ed up before.
But I think this year the choice is so obvious (like how 21 was the obvious choice) that they can't ignore it. And I'm not saying this because I'm a fan, I'm saying this as someone who has never missed a Grammy award since 2001.

Rain dreamer made a great point. Nominations are made by the experts so it will most likely get a nom, but because of the older white men in the overall voting panel, most likely Sam, Ed, or Frozen will win.
