BTW being rated better in the future is kinda inevitable because it's not like any mainstream artist is gonna try doing an industrial, 80s rock themed dancepop album anytime soon. It's a masterpiece in theory but not in execution. Alot of the inane lyrics and overproduction took away from many of the songs. With such a meaty concept, the album would have fared better as 10-12 tracks but that's jmo.
Born This Way is really creative, but it's not particularly cohesive at all. The grungy 80's rock vibe and the jagged Garibay synths are the most recurrent sounds on the album, but it's still pretty much all over the place musically.
ARTPOP is more cohesive.
Judas killed the era lol. EOG, You and I, and Marry the Night were all good songs. It's not the songs fault her stupid ass can't direct a good music video.
EOG and the first week were after Judas though...
You and I killed the era, especially worldwide.
artpop is cohesive in being trash. every track bar dwuw and dope is just her shouting over dated premade cheap edm beats. The quality downgrade is insane
Born This Way era is a blur to me. It happened so quickly.
I remember BTW video premiering, I remember hearing TEOG, I remember the Google+ Commercial w/ TEOG in it everywhere, I remember the Comcast commercial for OnDemand with Judas in it everywhere, I remember the Jo VMA thing, and the album cover along with it being discounted to 99cents.
I was just a GP type person, and even I remember the album cover and discount making headlines. I also remember that one Monster commit suicide and we had to watch a video on it in class.

interesting you say that, considering you've listened to ARTPOP tracks more than 1000 times.
