Fire Emblem Awakening
- No reason not to get this if you like turn based games. Amazing really.

You have a custom avatar in this one and you get to ship all the characters, those two features really sold it for me.
Kid Icarus: Uprising
- I thought the controls felt very natural, but it might be an issue since they are odd. But yeah, just wonderful personality and unbelievably polished. The alternating rail shooter flying parts and free roaming on the ground works really well, plus the online is still pretty fun though it did release a while ago and that shows.
Pushmo (eShop)
- it you're into puzzle games, it's super refined and honesty top 3 games for me on the 3DS. You can share puzzles via QR code and I've just gone online a few times to Google around and collect what other people have made.
Gunman Clive (eShop)
- Mega Man like platformer which is like $2. I adore the art style, it's on the short side but way beyond worth it. I never played a Mega Man game before so I've put an embarrassing amount of time into it since I'm awful (

), but it's just something I play every time I pick up my 3DS.
Shovel Knight (eShop)
- This one gets a lot of praise, and I just picked it up and I see why. I don't have any nostalgia for the games it's inspired by and it's still a great time.
