I think the most important thing when you want to release something is that you get with the times and at the minute the pop industry seems to be thriving again. As long as your stuff sounds fresh and up to date and the fans like it…you're on to a winner.
What's the label? I like Shayne, think its a shame Syco didn't really try with his third album, and its not really fair he is often thought of as one of the flops of X Factor as his first two albums did really well from what I remember.
It took him how long to secure this deal
Wait where are the details regarding his new record label?

“@apopjackson: @mikestockmusic @shayneTward Will it be on your label then Mike?” A label is, in present day terms, an old fashioned idea.
And Celebrate, he's actually signed a while back I believe, because he spoke about working with Mike quite a few months ago and recording in Sweden, which is why the album and single are almost ready. I don't think he's tried to get a label prior to this year since he's had other "things" to do.
Also, my Wikipedia plagiarism in the OP has been plagiarized:

He isn't going to regardless sis, I think we both know that.

I'd commit if he released a song like Talk Dirty, but I wouldn't be overly opposed to something like The Other Side.

Ideally, this. I'm over all these male artists with their boring-ass throwback looks and sounds though. I want him to deliver something different. He could pull off something like this:
That's the sort of stuff that I can see him realistically releasing. I definitely think he'll be doing something unexpected (at least, for him) this time around, based off what he said.
