A Beyonce backlash will not happen because she's simply more talented than all the other girls....by a billion miles. You all say she's riding this huge wave of adoration (she is) but look at all the divorce rumors and the elevator drama, people are already tearing her apart and all she does is give one performance and she's back to being this massive legend.
All the other girls that face massive backlash were never that talented to begin with.
I'm not trying to fight over whose line was referenced more, that's not the point.
All I'm trying to say is that Beyoncé's impact on the pop culture and the world in general is vastly bigger than Rihanna's. Most of the things that pop stars do musically won't be remembered in five years. These are not the Thriller, I Will Always Love You, Oops I Did It Again days. Nobody cares how much weeks a certain song has spent in the top ten or how many albums were sold.
The thing that matters the most is how the world perceives you. And the world perceives Beyoncé as one of the top performers alive, constantly praised for her dancing and vocal abilities, her success as a business woman, and as I've said it, a synoynm for greatness.
Rihanna might be great at a lot of things, but she's nowhere near Beyoncé.

I guess Christina was never that talented to begin with!
