Today, FKA twigs stopped by the BBC Radio 1 "Live Lounge". In addition to performing her LP1 highlight "Two Weeks", she covered Sam Smith's hit "Stay With Me". .

In an interview with Alice Levine, she discussed her decision to cover the song:

I need the studio version.

love her to the moon and back but the whole show was not so good.

No talent in sight and the eyebrows are just as horrid as her live singing voice.

The song is basic, not simple. It lacks any sort of alluring qualities and panders to the most generic forms of what R&B/Pop can be (Adding a choir section? Seriously? Haha). FKA Twigs turns it into something that sounds oh so fragile, yet powerful at the same time. Her performance brings the song so much more soul, and it's beautiful.
