Jamie Hince of The Kills has revealed he’s teaming up with New York rap queen Azealia Banks for a top-secret project.
Jamie, 45, who married Kate, 40 , three years ago,
has been meeting up with the outspoken star, 23, to work on new material.
They met through mates on the scene in London and hit it off. Azealia, best known for her 2011 hit 212, tours the UK later this month.
Jamie was DJing at Vivienne Westwood’s eco-friendly Trillion Fund and Finding Infinity OFFtheGRID solar party in London’s hipster haven Hoxton on Thursday and reveals: “
We spent a day writing recently and the results will surprise everybody. It’s a very unlikely collaboration, but somehow it works really well.
"He added that fans can expect to hear it by Christmas". !
