I liked it. This ending is good too, but I wanted Ted to end with Robin since the beginning.

Didn't realise how much I miss them till now

I just rewatched the entire series over the last few months. This ending felt more authentic but at the time, I still was okay with the original ending.

This also implies Barney and Robin eventually get back together ("Things fall apart... things get put back together"), or maybe I'm just misinterpreting.

They were actually brave when they decided to stay true to their vision and air the original edit, but I'm also glad fans had a deserved happy ending.

Trying to make up for disappointing their fans, I see.

If this would have been the original ending, Robin character in the entire series would have been irrelevant. So, I still prefer original ending
