Oh. Right. It is a funny performance. I watch it from time to time. The dancers just keep going lol. Apparently this was really upsetting to her though, as she is such a perfectionist.

Yeah because she didn't have any mic. And on the LOT performance at the VMA you can hear that the mic is working when she dropped it at the end.

No, it's a logical observation actually. 99% of her award show performances are live.

When she does, it's quite obvious. But generally she does not. Certainly not all her major performances nor the majority.

Examples of lip-syncing: beginning of CIL at VMAs, beginning of Baby Boy at EMAs, Musical Medley at the Oscars, the first half of DIL at the Grammys.

However there are a lot more that are purely live. You can sometimes hear her mess up and sing a note oddly.

Just like writing a horribly bad song yourself > tapping in on someone else's talent, I suppose?

Regardless of if she occasionally lip-syncs, its very clear that she still is a better singer than pretty much everyone on the pop scene. People posting examples of her lip-syncing is nothing compared to the multitude of other examples of flawless, beautiful live singing.
