Leona talks depression & leaving Sony in open letter to fans
Leona Lewis has posted an open letter to her fan base on Twitter and Instagram. The letter discusses depression she's experienced in the last few years and about leaving Simon Cowell's record label Syco. They also threatened that they would report she was dropped if she decided to leave them.
Poor Leona sis, here's hoping Island & Universal charge life into her career and she makes a great comeback.
I'm grateful she took the time to write the fans a letter to let us know how she feels.
Must've been a tough choice, but I'm glad she stood up for herself, makes me appreciate her even more.
It's always nice to see artists speak up about issues like this
I agree, she came across very dignified in her letter. There's probably a lot she hasn't said about her time at the label but I'm glad she spoke out, I have a lot more respect for her since
I hope she signs to another label and slays
She really deserves it, she is so talented
She got snapped up by Universal and she's with Island Records now. She was offered another deal with Syco but negotiated behind Simon's back. Leona, the sneaky chanteuse. Fifth album is apparently due next year.
