Katy Perry between "Legendary Lovers" and "Walking On Air"?

After the internet bombshell of the possible release of “Legendary Lovers” as next single, there are several points I need to clarify:
- The next single from Katy Perry will not come until this fall (late-October / early-November)
- The record label and her team are focused on continuing to promote the latest single “This Is How We Do“, which is currently rising in airplay considerably.
- For now, the next official single is undecided, confirmed to me by Capitol Records’ president Steve Barnett.
Obviously, Capitol Records has plans to release “Legendary Lovers” as a future single, but it’s not the only option. According Barnett, the next focus track will likely be a brand new urban / dance fusion mix of “Walking On Air“, produced by a Jack Ü, a potential dance music project formed by Diplo and Skrillex.
This edited version of “Legendary Lovers” circulating on Internet is unofficial and is only a test that has been leaked online without permission. In short, nothing is closed yet as the next step in promoting the album “PRISM“.
