I think the thing with the Hive is that people are so ready to unfairly discredit Beyoncé for whatever reason and this whether it is flamebait or not, gets them all riled up. To claim she was not ever an it-girl is crazy. Without brining up the contents of the thread again, it's pretty clear she has. I don't condone the actions of the Hive, and I know there are some really crazy people, but like every stanbase I don't think we can say definitively which ones take it too far. For every story you have, someone else has another regarding a different base.
