I think she will go gold by the end of the year due to the rerelease and then platinum by the end of 2015.

Katy didn't even sell that well but I think the DIFFERENCE here is that most repackages happen after 4 or 5 singles and people aren't willing to repurchase.
She's doing it after TWO big hits and early in the era so the timing is perfect os that people won't feel as though they've been coaxed into buying it again after all the time has gone past.
Plus, its the holiday season so she will get casual buyers, bandwagoners and fickle buyers with the right promo and also with a hit 3rd single. There are some people that might have liked fancy, may even like black widow but after 3 songs think it's worth supporting the album.
i just hope the new single is a worldwide smash.

Whatever happens in Iggy's career she can always tour with about 5 or 6 hit singles + other material so I think they are thinking long term...they will ensure she's not a one hit wonder
