I didn't even like the song until late last year when my then-ex and I were living across the country from each other. She loved Katy's first album, hated the second, and I got her into Prism more recently. She's obsessed with Gaga, which is the only subject we never talk about. Anyway, when I was still in KC and she was in NYC, she was seeing some new guy who was teaching her how to play the guitar. She texted me a video of that song...my stomach sank and since then I've really loved it.
Things like that can really make you appreciate a song an it can really take you on a journey .
