Artpop's lead single should have been a retooled Brooklyn Nights. It's such a power ballad, every beat hits hard and every teenage girl can relate (plus divorced middle aged women).

I still don't understand what was so wrong with switching the single from Venus to DWUW in Gaga's eyes.
