What the hell happened to the fire nation? I wish they focused more on them for S4. (S1 was mostly air, S2 was mostly about water, S3 was on Earth)
The first series was dedicated entirely to the fire nation, so it's safe to assume they are living a mildly peaceful lifestyle right now after the years of torture they put everyone through.

actually Book 1 was based on Water and journey to the water tribe, book 2 in the earth kingdom, and book 3 in the fire nation
it's inevitable that fire nation will come back in book 4 for Korra .
I haven't watched since the first season so I have no idea whats going on I guess i'm lucky in that sense. I really do think they just don't care though, as if its not a big deal. I'll just look at it as a teaser.
Literally Korra was by far the best show on Nickelodeon as the rest of their line up is absolutely horrendous besides iconic shows still airing like Spongebob. The fact that they are destroying this show makes me upset. They should just sell it to Cartoon Network and let them keep making more series.
. Though it's not THAT big and some people called it, it only greater hints her status in Book 4 and the situation in the first cap with all the Earth Kingdom prisoners is really intriguing and left for discussion; it may be a really be a large part of the plot in Book 4.
It's the only place left for them to explore, really.
