Mmmmh as a stan I never really understood her behaviour, sometimes she's contradicting herself but then what she says make sense. But this time I don't get why she dragged the poor journalist after she volunteerely narrated her whole life I mean, she loses her temper sometimes, but maybe that's it, we shouldn't read herself too much. I still love her and the music, as someone who's been following her long enough though you kind of expect these things from her. Her success just got sour and turned out more different to what she wanted. Most artists/celebs would've continued through with it because they were desperate for more fane and money but well she already has enough of all that. I truly admire her and she just never fails to fascinate me with her ideas on her own life. Ultraviolence is truly one of her best albums and i have no doubt it'll prove its worth over time.

She changes her mind like clothes. She also never wanted to make another album right after Born to Die and look where we are now. Making music is still her passion but she feels uncomfortable selling it because it takes away too much of her privacy and that's why most likely why she won't promote. At best she would want to keep all her music to herself.

Maybe she'll come back if wins some Grammy's

But really i think she'll still continue to make music because thats what she loves maybe just not on a big label thats only interested in the potential success. She makes the music for her enjoyment and from the interview she does say writing music is one of her happiest memories (in a way). And there's nothing like some critical success to get you feeling better about making a comeback or that they're people who understand what you do, so the Grammy part wouldn't hurt at all

She doesn't care... because she's already rich. And since she's already rich, because of her dad, singing is just a hobby for her. She's not really "an artist," so much as a rich girl who sings to pass time, because, as Lana Del Rey has stated over and over and over again -- she doesn't care. I'm not making this stuff up, kids.
