Lady Gaga has starred in major motion pictures, "Machete Kills" and "Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For." With both having disastrous reviews, and becoming major box office catastrophes -- Forbes recently declared "A Dame To Kill For" a bomb -- I couldn't help but legitimately wonder: Is Lady Gaga box office poison? Enlighten me and weigh in with your opinions.

Interesting notes: Other actors known as box office poison consist of Ryan Reynolds, Katherine Heigl, Vince Vaughn, Lindsay Lohan, and Taylor Kitsch. Also, Lady Gaga made a cameo in "Muppets Most Wanted," which was also declared a flop, only making $78 million on a $50 million dollar budget.

I think she's a bit cursed

This is petty.

It's not like she played a huge role in the movies. They're only small cameos and aren't to blame for the entire movies' floppage.

It's the movies themselves. She just needs to find a better role if she wants to do the acting thing.

Sin City 2 is the only one I'd expect to have success (Machete Kills is supposed to be camp trash and would never be a hit), but even then it's perfectly understandable it hasn't.

As for Gaga's role in either, I think we all know fine well that her combined 5 minute screen time is neither here nor there.

Robert Rodriguez is obviously the problem. He should probably try to start something new next time since Machete and Sin City are clearly done.
