But I feel bad for them, I feel like Gaga got these huge moments because nobody was expecting it. Like, it wasn't promoted on TV all week. Since then, in an effort to keep ratings and interest up, I feel like they advertise "SHOCKING MILEY MOMENT THIS SUNDAY NIGHT" and stuff like that. It ends up being meh and overhyped.

Conceptually, the artRave was much better put together than the BTWB though. Also compare EOG's video to G.U.Y., both of which were directed by Gaga herself. Things are getting better, I think she's starting to find a balance between her own visions and those of her team.

I agree! The choreo, the costumes, the vocals, the styling, the theme and symbolism etc. It slayed - and it was so happy and un-Gaga! (though if the rumors of the original idea being scrapped were true...) Either way, slayage.
