The girls started writing for the album a few months ago and just recently started recording last month. They've said they've worked with great writers and producers and there were rumors that they were working with Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart but nothings been confirmed until now. Here's an excerpt from an interview Rivers Cuomo gave to Billoard.

In addition, Cuomo recently wrote a song with sibling pop duo Aly & AJ, although it's unclear when it may see the light of day. "It was such a blast to remember how teenagers approach songwriting," he says of the experience. "Their minds just work so fast and they have no fear and no ego."

They did say thier aiming for a more rock sound this time around.

'Into The Rush' & 'Insomniatic' were gr8 albums so I'm excited for this one.
Thier actually talented girls despite what close-minded people might think.

People just see the word Disney and automatically think they suck.

They are actually extremely talented singers.

I love them!.
Hope this will be as good as their last 2 albums.

I hate them. Their latest album was an ear torture.

People assume that though because most of the people here think Disney artists aren't good and pale in comparison to those currently ruling the singles/downloads charts....when in fact it ain't that true.

I love how people dump on Aly & AJ when unlike some people they actually write their own material, perform well live(you know they actually sing), and are good musicians(playing piano since 6 and guitar for over 5 years).

Because they are from Hollywood Records they are automatically bad and every one else is better than them? Yea, I mean why listen to two girls with actual talent when you can just watch a ***** dance around lipsynching to lyrics she didn't write? that makes total sense.

So what? Their music is still very bland and annoying.

To you their music is bland. There's this crazy thing called an opinion, meaning that just because you like or dislike someone's music doesn't mean they have to feel the same way. Meaning that just because some one likes there music it doesn't mean that they are a tween or a Disney freak. Going around saying they suck or that their fans are tweeners just because YOU find them bland is ignorant.

Into The Rush is great, but Insomniatic is bad.

Hopefully they bring good stuff this time, but I still prefer The Veronicas over them.
