It's easy to defeat another country; however, the same cannot be said about indoctrination/brainwashing. ISIS is using "Islam" to carry out their missions. Therefore, any attack on ISIS will be deemed as an attack on Islam which will provide them with the grounds to recruit.
They've been able to recruit Americans, Europeans, and Australians using this tactic. :c
