I think some of the girls are afraid of major label involvement though. They have seen what Interscope done to PCD, and probably in some extend to Nicole. So I guess that is why Ashley has this more low-key label to release her music from and why melody as other example is still independant. I think they all could have had major label deals if they wanted to, but I guess they rather take it one step at a time.
Even Jessica left Hollywood records after some time and is now with that low-key dance label, also probably since she wants to release the stuff she feels right about and not what a label thinks is right.
